Houston blogger Pam Del at Warby Parker

Houston blogger, Pam Del is taking over the Market Street blog to share her experience picking out new frames at Warby Parker!

“It’s that time of the year again for me, glasses time! After getting SOOO much feedback on my Instagram stories on how I should check out a Warby Parker storefront,  I decided to do just that! Warby Parker must have known we were talking about them because they invited me in to check out the Warby Parker at Market Street location in the Woodlands! As someone who’s worn glasses since 4th grade…I can say I’ve owned more glasses than I can count, have more opinions on my glasses than I ever thought possible & won’t settle for frames that don’t spark joy! As a kid, I remember having the thinnest wire-framed glasses that I constantly bent, broke nose pieces off & just didn’t like because the nice glasses were too expensive. What I love about Warby Parker however is that they make high-quality eyewear so dang affordable, even for the pickiest of customers (that’s me!). When looking at glasses for myself, I immediately rule out ones with nose pads, thick bridges & anything micro-sized. Then I look for things such as vintage flair, pink glasses (I’ve bought pink glasses for the past 5 years or so) & ones that just look good! Since the Warby Parker at Market Street has all of its eyewear selections on hand, you can try them ALL on to find your fit…and that I did! I usually buy at least two pairs of glasses a year since I learned my lesson that my child could easily smash them in an instant, and waiting on a new pair can feel torturous. Plus, it makes getting ready for my day more fun when I have a variety of glasses to pick from!

I didn’t know this before but for every pair of glasses or sunglasses purchased from Warby Parker, a pair of glasses is distributed to someone in need. Stylish, affordable eyewear PLUS they give back? Double score!”
