MARKET STREET CELEBRATES AMERICA’S 250th ANNIVERSARY WITH THE 50thANNUAL SOUTH MONTGOMERY COUNTY 4TH OF JULY PARADE
THE WOODLANDS, TX – (June 23, 2026) – Market Street commemorates this milestone year as our nation celebrates its 250th Anniversary in 2026. Thousands of guests will cheer on the red, white and blue this 4th of July beginning at 9:00 am during this beloved community tradition: the 50th Annual South Montgomery County 4th of July Parade. This year’s event features local dignitaries, marching bands, dozens of parade floats, and live music.
Additionally, Market Street keeps the celebration going with a live performance from The Fuse band July 4th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and a patriotic photo opportunity available throughout the holiday weekend.
50th Annual South Montgomery County 4th of July Parade: 9:00 am
This will be a truly unforgettable year as The South Montgomery County Fourth of July Parade features an “America250!” theme with live performances of the National Anthem and “God Bless America” and a cannon salute from Rolling Thunder along with local dignitaries, marching bands, fire engines, horses, and floats. Live Concert: 6:00 – 8:00 pm
The Fuse band will perform live in Central Park on July 4 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Guests may bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the high energy performance with a mix of today’s hits and modern pop to beloved classic oldies.

About the South County 4th of July Committee, Inc.
The South County Fourth of July Committee is a 501(c)(3) corporation funded by community donations and sponsorships, comprised of dedicated volunteers responsible for the annual 4th of July Parade in The Woodlands area. The parade was originally organized by The Woodlands Lions Club in the late 1970’s before the formation of The South County Fourth of July Committee in the early 1990’s. The Committee has provided over $98,000 in high school band scholarships.
