Sep. 1, 2024 - Sep. 1, 2024
6:30 AM - 10:00 AM
The Woodlands Car Club was founded in March 2001 by a local group of car enthusiasts to create friendships, fellowship, foster relationships with local business and community, create awareness for and give back to local non-profit organizations in Montgomery County. Since 2001, TWCC has raised and donated over $100,000 to local charities in our community.
The Woodlands Cars & Coffee for a Cause Charity Car Display event was created by one of the original TWCC members, Dana Pritchard from Woodlands Performance & Suspension in 2009. The Woodlands Car Club enthusiasts gather at Market Street the first Sunday of each month from 6:30-10ish a.m., to continue efforts to provide a fun and creative way to give back to our community.
TWCC welcomes all types of cars/vehicles from classics, hot rods, exotics, and more. The only type of vehicles that is difficult to accommodate in large numbers, are the late model lifted trucks. This is only because if we have more than 1 or 2 at this event, we will get many requests for truck clubs to attend, and space just won't accommodate this. We do encourage diversity and feel it is important that we can use our special vehicles at local events for such great causes, but we do have some restrictions on type & size of vehicles in this particular venue. Since space is limited at Market Street, parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis, & we start letting vehicles in at 6:30 a.m., at which time a donation of any amount will be collected. For first time participants, you will be asked to fill out a waiver/information form.
The purpose behind this event is for us to provide a morning gathering to show off special vehicles within the car community, be a supportive partner with Market Street and the local community, share information about needful non-profit organizations in Montgomery County, and to give back monetarily as well.
TWCC collects coins/change for our donation to the Market Street “Change for Charities” program that will benefit non-profit organizations in Montgomery County.
TWCC has collected and donated over $50,000 to local charities from this program since 2009.
