THE WOODLANDSTX – (November 7, 2025) – The lighting of the 70-foot Christmas tree in Central Park will officially kick off the holiday season at the 18th Annual Market Street in Lights on Thursday, November 20 at 6:00 p.m.

This dazzling display of flashing, multi-colored lights is synchronized to favorite holiday songs along with a festive spray of “snow” and confetti. The JoiLux band will entertain attendees with a mix of high energy, Top 40 and classic hits from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. Market Street tenants will also be participating, adding surprise and delights throughout the evening.

Special guests at this year’s celebration will include Glinda and Elphaba from “Wicked”, Elsa, Olaf, the Grinch, Cindy Lou Who, Martha May Whovier and Santa’s elves, in addition to balloon artists, face painters and other roaming performers.

Sponsored by Texas Children’s Hospital – The Woodlands; Rockefeller Global Family Office – The Maxwell Group; as well as Thomas Markle Jewelers and Sewell Automotive, Market Street in Lights will attract hundreds to witness the first “performance” of Market Street’s Christmas tree and the more than 25,000 multi-colored lights adorning the destination’s Central Park.
