Four Montgomery County charities will benefit from the thousands of dollars in change inserted in Market Street’s premium parking meters throughout the year as the shopping, dining and entertainment destination announces the beneficiaries of the 2026 Change for Charity program: Community Assistance Center, The Woodlands Children’s Museum and Keep Us Fed Montgomery County. During the 4th quarter, Market Street will support local public schools by donating to the school that wins The Sing-Off, scheduled for December 2026.
The Woodlands Car Club also generously raises money for the Change for Charity recipients throughout the year at their events, held the first Sunday of each month. Their contributions, coupled with the amount donated to Market Street’s 68 parking meters make up the total amount given to a selected charity each quarter.
The program’s first-quarter beneficiary,
Community Assistance Center, which provides resources to meet basic needs and improve quality of life for our neighbors in Montgomery County.
The second-quarter beneficiary,
The Woodlands Children’s Museum, which is a cooperative learning environment that provides children with multiethnic and multicultural experiences.
Keep Us Fed Montgomery County, the program’s third-quarter recipient, is a non-profit that helps feed our hungry neighbors, by recovering excess nutritional food that might otherwise be thrown away.
The program’s fourth-quarter recipient is Market Street’s very own
Sing Off Competition.
The Sing Off is a premier holiday event each year featuring a signature a cappella event with elite local high school talent in a high-energy outdoor concert, that promotes local arts and gives funds to school choirs.
