ARTFEEL at Market Street produced by The Woodlands Arts Council where our town's own singer/songwriter PIlar Victoria will share songs inspired by the public sculpture ACROBATICA by Rafael Barrios!
Growing up in Buenos Aires, London and Texas, 15 year old Pilar Victoria began writing songs at age 12 and taught herself to play the ukulele, guitar and the piano in between school and learning to skateboard. Over the past 2 years, she’s self-released a handful of beautifully crafted songs from her computer in her bedroom. Since then, she’s caught the world’s attention and accumulated over 2 million streams on Spotify alone with her debut song "Wilted Flower" which went viral on Tiktok last year!
ACROBATICA is located across from the Embassy Suites Hotel in Hughes Landing. It's a stunning trick-of-the-eye piece appearing chunky at first blush, but revealing itself to be surprisingly pancake thin when viewed from its sides! The photo of it included here is by Joan Tilton.
Like the public art is celebrates, ARTFEEL is free and open to the public. Bring a blanket or portable chair to sit on and picnic under the stars!
